The Business Unit Continuous Improvement Manager plays a critical role in leading process improvement initiatives and operations analysis. This job manages a team of experienced professionals that provide Continuous Improvement expertise and consultation to assigned business units. This job leads the execution of key divisional, departmental or cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives ensuring that clear targets, goals and expectations are established, communicated and executed.
Key Responsibilities and DutiesDirects process improvement and continuous improvement analysis to ensure procedures are in place to identify potential upgrades that would be ideal for business unit goals.\nApproves opportunities for processing operational improvements by analyzing current operations, reviewing cost/benefit analysis and business cases.\nLiaises with functional leadership teams across the organization to determine needs for business improvements and to strategize possible business solutions.\nSupervises the development of business diagnostics designs that identify, quantify and prioritize value creation projects in congruence with team feedback and input.\nRecommends process enhancements that would improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness within the organization.\nCoordinates with key business owners and partners for the delivery of results and establishment of a culture of Continuous Improvement (e.g. customer insights idea generation, change management, communications, etc.).\nManages performance of the direct reports through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of continuous improvement projects and engagement, motivation and development of team.\nEnsures proper training and documentation is provided on Continuous Improvement action plans within the organization.\nWorks with functional leadership teams to ensure that the transition to new programs and implemented solutions is smooth and effective.Educational RequirementsBachelor's Degree Required Work Experience5+ Years Required; 7+ Years PreferredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary Work

The Sr. Director, Strategic Platform Execution will work on the Process Transformation team within Wealth Business Enablement, providing process design, management and analysis expertise, partnering across Wealth Chief Operating Office (COO), Wealth Distribution and Technology organizations. They will be responsible for designing future state processes, consulting on strategic roadmap creation, partnering on the development and deployment of the technology solutions and provide oversight on day to day decision making related to project execution.
Leads large-scale, strategic initiatives to deepen business integration and optimize resources to best serve our clients.
Communicate, influence, collaborate and gain consensus with key partners around the future state process and customer journeys applying strategic goals and objectives.
With the Business Owners, shape goals for outcomes and prioritizing / sequencing the deliverables to achieve desired outcomes.
Champion constant improvement of the end to end process in a way consistent with the TIAA goals, mission, vision, and values.

Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Services
Preferred Experience
7+ years’ experience in Financial Services
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working on large technology initiatives; specifically, Salesforce is a plus
Utilizing Program/Project Management skills
Experience in Continuous Improvement plans
Experience leading teams
