The Supply Chain Segment Planning Lead is overall accountable for the effective operation, execution, deployment of global methodology and coordination of the Supply Chain Function in the segment.
Monitoring and continuously improving our supply chain planning capabilities (people, processes and systems) to drive the SC health and performance in term of service level, inventory optimization and improved cots.
This position is a member of the Global supply Planning leadership team as well as in the Operations Segment leadership team and is working closely with both teams to ensure consistency in the planning practices and alignment with the Global SC goals and targets.

Achievement of cost reduction and efficiency improvement targets High service levels and customer satisfaction rates Compliance with all regulatory and quality standards Effective risk management and minimal supply chain disruptions Continuous improvement in supply chain processes and performance metrics (e.g., On-time in Full (OTIF) delivery performance, Inventory management efficiency, supply plan adherence) Implementation and achievement of sustainability goals within the Segment
Location: This is a hybrid role (3 days/week onsite) based in Parsippany, NJ office.
How you’ll spend your day Liaison and Representation: Act as the primary GSC contact for the Segment head and represent GSC in the operational unit’s Leadership Team (LT) and Monthly Operations Review, as well as in Regional S&OP forums Volume and Strategy Alignment: Oversee volume forecasts in relation to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) and define/deploy Segment’s network strategy aligned with GNPS global strategy Service Level Management: Ensure effective planning processes and routines are in place at sites to secure customer service and prevent stockouts, while managing and escalating supply risks as needed. S&OP Process and Escalations: Serve as the focal point for escalations through the S&OP process, addressing issues such as demand-supply imbalances, drug shortages, and excess stock risks. Supply Chain Performance: Lead forums with site SC heads to review service, inventory, freight, write-offs, and supply chain business processes Inventory Management: Collaborate on setting and aligning site inventory targets, drive inventory optimization projects, and implement strategies to avoid write-offs and manage inventory risks Write-Off Governance: Ensure routine checks of inventory risks and represent the operational unit in write-off governance forums. People Development: Provide coaching and capability building for site SC heads, foster communities of practice, and manage 1-2 direct reports to support site objectives and team performance Your experience Professional: Extensive experience in global SC management (incl. SC processes improvement) Proven experience in SC performance improvement in terms of service, cost and working capital; Data-driven decision making around S&OP trade-offs Knowledge of emerging technologies & innovative approaches in pharma SCM Advanced understanding of the complexity of supply chain planning processes in Operations and Commercial Supply Chain Management & Planning Experience and expertise in the various aspects of supply planning including RCCP, Scheduling, MRP, and inventory optimization Essential: Strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguous situations Strategic thinking Excellent storytelling and presentation skills Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management Effective communication Strong relationship and senior stakeholder management capabilities Leadership: Strong leadership, change management, & influencing skills Decision-making under uncertainty skills Ability to drive transformational change in a large/global/matrixed environment Proven talent management & people development capabilities (incl. coaching and mentoring) Ability to create an engaging & inclusive work climate and a culture of appreciation and trust Ability to set a vision and drive organizational change and innovation Ability to manage effectively complexity within the organization (shifting timelines, projects, priorities) Qualifications 12+ years of experience in the field of Supply Chain Management & Operations Minimum prerequisite of at least SLT role or a comparable role in MFG\SC in the pharma industry; certifications such as APICS, CSCP, CPSM Experience working in a large, complex matrixed environment with global processes & governance structures Track record of delivering strong business results in operations and supply chain Expertise in emerging technologies & innovative approaches in pharma SCM Enjoy a more rewarding choiceWe offer a competitive benefits package, including:
