What will you be doing?
The Senior Director of TD&E PMO oversees the Project Management Office (PMO) across the globe to ensure all programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements. This position is responsible for many facets of Technical Delivery and Engineering (TD&E) project management including SPS, Regional PMO, Agile PMO, PMO Practice, and Strategic Resourcing project coordinators.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides strategic leadership and management to organizational leaders in the TD&E PMO. Directs service delivery resources on project and program teams, advising on and implementing key strategy decisions on scope, approach, investment, and customer escalations. Aligns to and drives the overall strategy and vision of WWT’s Solutions Consulting and Engineering (SC&E) organization through the TD&E PMO, collaborating and assisting wherever possible to promote the success of the whole over any individual division. Establishes and maintains a reliable, clearly defined, WWT TD&E PMO with consistent methodologies and effectively applied best practices. Takes on escalation resolution duties where needed, guiding and advising program or project teams through high-visibility or critical efforts, representing WWT in front of high-level customer stakeholders, and providing objective and accurate reports to all levels of WWT leadership when called upon. Ensures clarity and alignment around priorities and goals for employees across the TD&E PMO. Contributes to achieving financial goals by managing utilization targets and expenses for the PMO. Serves as hiring manager for direct reporting positions in the PMO, seeking approval from leadership when new positions are required. Owns responsibility for performance management of direct reports, including career growth, performance concerns, and terminations. Serves as central decision-making point in the PMO for KPIs, MBOs, salaries, job descriptions, and promotion criteria Ensures and advocates for proper investments in tools, processes, and people to govern the Project Portfolio, Risk Reviews, Document Controls, and Project Management training
