The Senior Director, Worldwide Market Access Strategy, Oncology and Hematology will lead Market Access Strategy assessment and development related to coverage and reimbursement to maximize the value of Danaher Diagnostics portfolio and life cycle management. The Senior Director will report to the VP, Chief Value and Access Officer and will be fully remote. Key activities include, but are not limited to: + Cross-functional team leadership related to strategic market access. + Subject-matter expert input at Danaher Diagnostics and its Operating Companies, where applicable, to determine where to play and how to win in a complex market access environment with high level of uncertainty. + Informing value and access strategies, as part of product strategic planning, for existing and new products, through understanding the competitive/ Standard of Care market access landscape, funding mechanisms, value drivers and barriers for payer customers and influencers and the clinical development strategies and evidence generation plan needed maximize coverage and reimbursement rate and drive value for Danaher + Providing unbiased value and access assessment of clinical applications under-consideration and Beacon projects and what it takes to be successful. Influencing peers and senior leaders to make sure Value and Access input was taken into consideration at every single step of project progression. + Monitoring the evolving external environment and synthesizing input to inform Government Affairs and Market Access strategies + Ensuring that Value and Access considerations are included in Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) and clinical utility studies as well as the development of mitigation plans in collaboration with the cross-functional team (Marketing, Product Management, Commercial, Medical & Scientific Affairs, Regulatory, Strategic Business Planning, other Value and Access functions & Local Markets) The essential requirements of the job include: + Solid scientific background in oncology and hematology, enabling the evaluation of trial design impact on payer strategies and the ability to challenge clinical development or medical and scientific affairs or other relevant stakeholders with the ability to identify relevant clinical endpoints and plan for outcomes research in the early phases of clinical development + Ensuring that all recommended Market Access activities comply with regulatory agencies, public policies/guidelines, and with corporate/legal policies and procedures + Undergraduate degree required, MBA and/or post graduate degree preferred + Minimum of 10+ years’ Market Access experience with an exceptional track record in Market Access, Pricing or HEOR + Highly specialized technical expert, highly specialized Market Access, Pricing and Reimbursement expertise, knowledge of rapidly emerging HTA systems and coding/pricing systems It would also be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + The current and emerging global Market Access environment (US and Globally) in our clinical applications of interest with experience in taking multiple products to market and developing HTA strategies + The IVD & commercialization process, HTA assessment methodologies, global reimbursement environment, and regulatory requirements in-depth understanding of payers and their perspective in the key markets At DH Diagnostics we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
