We are looking for a Senior Director – Adoption Service Center for Business Technology Platform (BTP) Solution Area. The Senior Director will support the rapidly expanding SAP Platform business in SAP Japan. Our mission is to empower customers to accelerate their business transformation by adopting SAP innovations, leveraging SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP). The SAP BTP solution area focuses on technology topics such as database, integration, platform development, and AI. As part of a broader global organization, the Japan practice is currently being established, offering excellent career opportunities. Our team will assist and guide customers on their journey to the BTP by applying the entire BTP services portfolio of Professional Services. We facilitate digital transformation by bridging the gap between business and technology, delivering end-to-end technology services throughout the entire customer lifecycle. **What you will be doing:** + Drive adoption and consumption of BTP solution areas in collaboration with SAP’s local sales and pre-sales. Support all SAP’s customer facing roles to successfully drive our platform business + Innovate new business models with the focus on Japanese customers and develop use cases on the BTP + Collaborate with the global SAP BTP solution area to adopt the latest strategy and innovation locally + Become part of the team’s leadership and develop strategy and guidance for the future of the team + Guide and advise customers in regard to the latest SAP technology and innovation with our SAP BTP + Steer and guide customers and partners in key BTP projects to become an AI driven enterprise + Identify and scale SAP innovations together with our customers and partners leveraging the BTP + Help customers with onboarding and adoption of their BTP use cases + Explain the importance of BTP in the context of SAP’s strategy to our customers, partners and internally. Become a thought leader for topics like Suite transformation, Clean Core and AI. + Train and coach new members of the team and create the future of the Japan BTP business **What you bring:** + Bachelor of Science (ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or related fields of study with a technical focus) + Professional experience (ideally 5 years) in the field of services + At least 5 years of experience in the platform business ideally with SAP BTP + Track record of successfully delivering and leading customer projects preferably with SAP BTP or any other business platform + Good understanding of SAP overall strategy and the role of BTP as part of the strategy + Deep experience in one of the SAP topics around platform development, Integration, database, extensibility or AI + Understanding end to end process of how to develop innovative use cases and new platform business models until bringing it into production with customers. + Experience in working together with Sales and pre-sales to support adoption and consumption of SAP solutions + International mind set + Result orientation + Mindset of a team player + Japanese fluence & business English (fluent written and spoken) + Capability of strategic acting and thinking + Customer experience and strong customer focus **Meet your team** SAP’s Adoption Service Center serves as the trusted advisor for our customers, enabling them to leverage SAP BTP in their transformation to become AI-driven and cloud-based enterprises.
