Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director, Corporate Acquisitions to lead acquisition initiatives and corporate development activities within our organization. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for acquisition opportunities involving Cambridge financial professionals and work closely with the executive team to execute strategic initiatives that drive long-term growth. Your responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating acquisition targets, structuring solutions, negotiating deals, and creating shareholder value through successful integration. This role requires strategic thinking, strong financial acumen, and the ability to cultivate key partnerships both internally and externally. Essential Duties Acquisition Leadership: Serve as the primary contact for acquisition opportunities of Cambridge financial professionals, driving the evaluation and execution of private company acquisitions from minority investments to full acquisitions. Corporate Development: Lead corporate development initiatives, working closely with the executive and SAS leadership teams to identify new business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and financings that generate financial service revenue. Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Take ownership of deal recommendations, evaluating opportunities, structuring pragmatic solutions to challenges, and leading negotiations to a successful close. Strategic Analysis: Build and manage acquisition pipelines, conduct market research, financial analysis, and initial due diligence to prioritize potential targets and opportunities that align with long-term goals. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, IT, Compliance, Legal, and external partners such as investment bankers, brokers, intermediaries, and private equity firms to ensure smooth processes and regulatory compliance. Communication & Risk Management: Present clear rationale and associated risks for proposed transactions to deal sponsors, functional leadership, and senior executives through both written reports and verbal communications. Industry Trend Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends and developments to generate proactive business opportunities and maintain competitiveness. Shareholder Value Creation: Focus on building long-term shareholder value through new acquisition growth, measured by capital investment, return on capital, and successful integration. Education & Experience The ideal candidate would possess an advanced level of experience, typically around 8 or more years, with Mergers & Aquisitions (M&A) and business strategy the, particularly in financial services. Certificates & Licenses Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 or 99 is required if not already obtained. FINRA Series 7 is preferred. Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 salary plus incentive compensation based on successful completion of acquisitions. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
