Position Summary:The Senior Director Team Leader is accountable for the development and achievement of growth plans with BBU convenience, dollar store, and retail pharmacy store customers. The position is based in Texas and leads a direct team of associates within the Texas region and leverages our Direct Store Delivery network servicing BBU stores across the country. This key leader in our company must be able to span focus and leadership driving tactical store level execution and co-authoring strategic brand and shopper plans that lead to short and long-term growth. The leader will need to develop and maintain strong mutually beneficial relationships throughout the customer’s organization and our company’s DSD structure. Key Role Responsibilities:Leads the BBU Team as a true partner to our customers focused on commercial bakery category revenue and profit growthWorks internally with each company field Business Unit to understand their marketplace priorities and assist them in developing marketplace plansDevelopments and delivers on BBU growth plansWorks closely with company Marketing Teams on the development of specific brand growth initiatives that provide growth for the company’s core brands as well as sub-commoditiesManage corporate relationships with customers that establish the company as the go-to partner for all commercial bakery opportunitiesDevelops and implements business plans that are objective, linked to business strategy, and delivers value to the consumer, customer and company. Effectively tracks and evaluates results and modifies plans accordingly.Identifies service and product opportunity gaps and works internally and externally to address gaps.Defines customer and company needs using best in class analytics, articulates them to the BBU Business Units securing alignment, orchestrates implementation, and tracks results.Links customer, business and brand strategies and mobilizes and influences cross-functional resources to execute new opportunities. Leads others and provides others the opportunity to effectively develop and/or expand the company’s business. Is innovative in addressing strategic differences to achieve a win/win with the customer. Must demonstrate a passion for continuously learning and applying insight about the customer.Promotes accountability for the achievement of goals among peers and team members.Demonstrates a passion for winning in the market and a focus on speed of action. Education and Work History:Bachelor’s degree10 – 15 years’ CPG sales and Direct Store Delivery experienceIdeally having worked in the Convenience, Dollar and Drug channelBoth DSD and Warehouse Direct experience and or Third-Party BrokerCursory knowledge of C-Store digital aspiration and capabilityExperience working closely and building plans with brand marketing teamsStrong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills)Strong ability to lead with and without direct authority; collaboration with cross-functional business partners is highly criticalProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Syndicated Data, Trade Promotion Management30-40% travel
