Ascension is seeking a dynamic and influential leader to serve as the strategic nexus for our Growth Marketing & Digital Experience (GMDx) organization. This pivotal role functions as a strategic partner and operational force multiplier for the Senior Vice President, GMDx, while also leading a team of Discipline Integration Directors.
The Sr. Director, GMDx Integration & Strategic Operations will orchestrate the rhythm of the business, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure executional excellence across the GMDx ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a master of both strategy and execution, capable of transforming complex challenges into clear, actionable plans. You will partner seamlessly with leaders across GMDx, enterprise strategy, finance, technology, and market operations to break down silos, accelerate delivery, and amplify our collective impact.
This leader will combine exceptional business acumen and operational rigor with a deep understanding of digital and marketing landscapes. You will operate at the highest levels, synthesizing diverse inputs into executive-ready insights while simultaneously instilling a culture of discipline and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
The role will require 20%-30% travel.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 4-6 Discipline Integration Directors, fostering their growth as strategic leaders.Cultivate a community of practice that fosters collaboration, standardizes best practices, and elevates the collective impact of the integration team.Champion role clarity and establish clear decision-rights frameworks to enhance organizational agility and accountability.Cross-Functional Integration & Execution
Architect and oversee processes that connect work across Marketing, Digital Product, Engineering, Strategy, and Operations, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving shared objectives.Implement standardized templates, processes, and communication protocols to drive efficiency, consistency, and excellence in execution across the organization.Executive Communications & Influence
Craft compelling, executive-level communications, narratives, and presentations that distill complex information into actionable insights.Master information flow to and from the SVP, ensuring critical signals are amplified while noise is filtered, enabling decisive leadership.Partner with GMDx leadership to spearhead critical change initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, stakeholder buy-in, and sustained adoption.Lead cultural initiatives, including Associate Engagement action planning, to foster a high-trust, accountable, and growth-oriented environment.RequirementsEducation:
High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years
being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy Industrial Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.12+ years of progressive experience in roles spanning digital strategy, marketing, business operations, or management consulting within a large, complex, matrixed organization.Demonstrated success in a Chief of Staff, strategic planning, or senior business partner role or internal consulting roles, directly supporting C-suite executives.Exceptional business acumen and analytical skills, with a proven ability to translate complex business challenges into clear strategic frameworks and operational plans.Mastery of executive communication, including synthesizing complex ideas into clear, concise, and persuasive presentations and written materials.Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.High emotional intelligence and proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing senior-level talent.Healthcare experience is a plus, not required; aptitude to learn the space is essential.Why Join Our Team
