Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$162,000 - $237,600

Overview:

We are continuing to build and develop our Lilly USA employer engagement capability as this customer will be increasingly critical for our obesity portfolio. Lilly's ongoing research, including our efforts in obesity, presents one of the most exciting opportunities in the history of the company.

Lilly has a team to engage with large employers, employer healthcare consultants and coalitions to support the commercialization of Lilly’s obesity portfolio. This role is intended to help benefits leaders and key opinion leaders with the information they need to articulate Lilly’s value proposition and support their internal teams.

This position reports within Lilly Value and Access (LVA), which supports Lilly’s purpose of uniting caring with discovery to make medicines that make life better for people around the world. The position of Senior Director of Employer Engagement plays a role in achieving LVA’s mission of improving health outcomes by establishing, communicating, and realizing the value of Lilly therapeutics to employers.

As Senior Director of Employer Engagement, you are responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationship with employer customers and related stakeholders. You will develop expert knowledge of Lilly’s portfolio and use this along with your knowledge of employer benefit design to engage with key stakeholders. Additionally, the Senior Director of Employer Engagement will understand employer’s challenges, needs, and opportunities. By aligning expectations across customer segments, this individual will help convey how Lilly’s brands meet the healthcare needs of employers.

To be successful, you must thrive in a fast-paced, team environment and excel at developing high-level customer relationships with benefits directors and Vice Presidents in addition to regional and national healthcare coalitions. Account assignments are subject to change over time as business dynamics dictate and/or business priorities change.

This role is based remotely. This position does not have direct reports.

Job Responsibilities:Demonstrate deep understanding of broad healthcare and competitive business trends, regulatory and legal requirements, and their impact on customers. Know employers and what they value.Serve as the clinical expert to employers and other key benefit decision makers. Develop and maintain relationships with accounts to attain near-term and ensure long-term successRepresent Lilly at trade, coalition, key employer and customer meetings.Develop strategic account plans that will improve customer relationships. Know how to access all resources available to develop knowledge and drive business results.Proactively engage and network with key account decision makers to identify and address specific needs and aligned opportunities.Conduct regular account business reviews and opportunity analysis and derive meaningful and actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and account decision makersDemonstrate knowledge of Lilly’s and LVA’s vision, mission, business strategies/goals, products, processes and compliance requirements.Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of overall brand strategy, leveraging your ability to acquire real time customer insights & market trends and to meet mutual business goals & objectivesMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree3+ years of experience working with or within the employer benefit spaceQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
