We are seeking a strategic and experienced Sr. Director of Global Real Estate & Workplace Strategy to lead our worldwide real estate portfolio and workplace experience initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing strategies that align our physical spaces with business objectives, enhance employee engagement, and oversee workplace systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in real estate management, workplace strategy, and leading teams focused on employee experience and workplace technologies.What You Can Expect
Global Real Estate Management:
· Develop and execute a comprehensive global real estate strategy that supports the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
· Oversee site selection, lease negotiations, acquisitions, and dispositions to optimize the real estate portfolio.
· Collaborate with regional teams to assess and address real estate needs, ensuring alignment with local regulations and market trends.
Workplace Strategy:
· Inform the design and implementation of innovative workplace solutions that promote productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being.
· Utilize data-driven insights to inform space planning, utilization, and the integration of flexible work arrangements.
· Support consistency in workplace standards across all global locations, reflecting the company’s culture and values.
Employee Experience Oversight:
· Manage and mentor teams responsible for employee experience.
· Develop and implement programs that enhance the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive and engaging work environment.
· Foster a culture of continuous feedback, utilizing surveys and other tools to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Workplace Systems and Technology:
· Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of workplace technologies that support seamless operations and communication.
· Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure systems are user-friendly, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.
· Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on workplace efficiency and employee experience.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
· Develop and manage budgets related to real estate projects, workplace initiatives, and technology investments.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies without compromising quality or employee satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure cohesive strategies and initiatives.
· Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and on-the-ground teams, effectively communicating goals, progress, and challenges.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate real estate, workplace strategy, or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
· Demonstrated expertise in managing global real estate portfolios and leading workplace transformation projects.
· Strong understanding of employee experience principles and the ability to translate them into actionable strategies.
· Proficiency in workplace technologies and systems that enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and drive cross-functional initiatives.
· Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
193,930 - 290,500, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
