The day-to-day: You’ll lead and develop a team of communications professionals across EMEA. Driving our corporate, regional and local communications programmes, you’ll plan and implement activities with the wider global communications team. In areas such as: * strategic executive and employee communications * media outreach * message and narrative development * influencer engagement * executive thought leadership You also will work with key internal (EMEA executive leadership, government affairs, analyst relations, engineering, sales, marketing and other functions) and external partners (media and influencers). Skills and experience You have: * 17+ years of seasoned executive and employee communications, public relations leadership experience in a global technology company * a bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, Journalism or related field * a track record of translating business goals into data-driven communications goals · experience inspiring and leading teams through market transitions or transformations * the gravitas and credibility to influence and give counsel to executives * outstanding writing, editorial and storytelling skills * a strong network of media relationships you can draw upon for Cisco * the management skills to attract talent, manage budgets, track ROI, and optimise resources.
