Senior Director of CRVA Pricing and Optimization

Job Details:

This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the overall pricing and mix optimization strategies, ensuring the business maximizes revenue and profitability while remaining competitive in the market by analyzing operating cost, commodity markets, customer demand, and market trends to establish optimal price and product mix structures. This position will lead a team of pricing managers and analyst and collaborate with sales, marketing, F&A, operations, innovation, and product development to execute pricing strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Price Development:

Creating and maintaining comprehensive pricing models and strategies aligned with company objectives, market dynamics and competitive landscape.

Pricing Implementation:

Leading the execution of pricing strategies for the business unit, to include pricing policies and guidelines. 

Pricing Analysis and Reporting:

Tracking pricing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and presenting results to leadership.

Collaboration:

Working closely with sales, marketing, product development, operations, and finance teams to ensuring alignment with pricing strategies and total enterprise revenue management. 


Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or another related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:12+ years relative experience with at least 8 years in pricing required.  Food experience with raw beef, pork and poultry preferred; experience with M&A strategy and financial statements also a plus.
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; standard computer skills in other areas.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor communication style to various influencers and stakeholders.
Special Skills: Excellent project management skills; ability to influence key stakeholders and decision makers; ability to multi-task while simultaneously driving numerous projects through different stages of the product life cycle; proficiency in condensing technical information or large amounts of data into universally understood executive summaries; ability to be agile and constantly shift priorities basis shifts in market dynamics, competitive environment and/or internal strategies;
Supervisory: None
Travel: 12 or more domestic trips per year.
