General Summary:

Responsible for managing and directing plant operations, construction, development of facilities, and planning and directing the successful operations of current and future real estate assets. Ensures departments operate within budget and in accordance with performance standards. Responsible for managing the operations of building systems.  Oversees design layouts, develops building plans and prepares project costing of approved facilities and equipment. Enhances and maximizes the value of the organization’s assets. Directs the development of cost estimates of labor, materials, and services used for planning, budgeting, and contracting. Manages the portfolio of commercial and residential properties.   

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Position requires Bachelor’s degree. At least 10 years’ work experience in a related field. 5 years must be in a leadership role to demonstrate ability to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team. Architect experience preferred. Licensed architect preferred. Work requires current driver’s license to travel between locations. Work requires a high level of analytical and organizational skills for planning and service delivery. Working with high volume of issues/projects require attention to detail and very frequently produces a high level of mental/visual fatigue.
