Senior Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics
**Senior Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics** The Senior Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics will partner directly with Marketing senior leadership to enable global marketing efforts and sales support via a comprehensive tech stack and operating discipline. He/She will ensure that our cross-functional leadership teams have the data, insights, and recommendations needed to make high-stakes decisions and to improve processes and optimize production in support of Marketing strategy. You will establish strategic priorities, craft operational processes, and drive execution against the Marketing Operations & Analytics roadmap. We are seeking a motivated leader to drive trust and adoption of operating principles and analytic insights. You will have a strategic vision for turning data into insights, be technically strong and business savvy, have excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Responsibilities** + Lead and define the vision and strategy of the marketing operations, audience strategy and analytics teams + Manage the martech stack owned by the team - Marketo, Workfront, Openprise - and provide thought leadership and roadmapping for enterprise technology leveraged by the team - Snowflake, Tableau, BigQuery, CDP + Drive operational efficiencies by standardizing processes and developing scalable runbooks for core operations processes + Drive data proficiency throughout the organization through the creation of standardized metrics, intuitive dashboards, and compelling business insights + Oversee vendor management of data acquisition and augmentation providers, including performance monitoring and POC initiatives + Drive RevOps efficiency and optimization in support of global sales team, including Salesforce integration and governance, lead scoring and routing efforts + Evaluate existing MarTech and project management tools, recommend and optimize toolset on an ongoing basis to ensure team is working with most efficient and effective toolsets available + Partner closely with Marketing leadership to adopt a culture of hypothesis-driven innovation; help business partners identify key questions, structure experiments, and interpret results to drive sound decisions. + Partner with enterprise data engineering and IT teams to develop sustainable data architecture and integration patterns with marketing operations technology + Set the vision, road map, and priorities for your team while leading all aspects of the team's development, efficiency and business impact. + Effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical teams; mentor and guide your team on strategic recommendations. **Requirements** + 10+ years of relevant professional marketing operations and analytics experience with a varied background covering a combination of marketing, GTM, product and/or web disciplines + Confirmed experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of sophisticated techniques and data driven solutions. + Ability to lead through ambiguous and subjective situations, including balancing operational efficiency and data analysis with high quality standards while maintaining a user centric approach. + Ability to understand business priorities and prioritize scarce resources appropriately + Hands-on programming and scripting experience, as well as experience with visualization tools. + Strong understanding of modern B2B marketing (e.g. demand generation, multi-channel attribution, channel mix optimization, spend management, etc.) + Excellent communication skills - oral, written, and visual; ability to take the results of analyses and communicate significant recommendations concisely + A strong history of successfully mentoring team members into increasingly senior roles. Note: **Base Pay Range** SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area Base Pay Range: $234,400.00 - 322,300.00 per year California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts Base Pay Range: $211,200.00 - 290,400.00 per year All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area. Base Pay Range: $190,400.00 - 261,800.00 per year Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location.
