Senior Director of Operations

We are seeking a Senior Director of Operations to lead business development, estimating, and supply chain operations at Premier PV, a leading manufacturer specializing in eBOS electrical equipment. This senior leadership role will be pivotal in driving business growth, overseeing the estimation of products, and optimizing the supply chain. The Senior Director of Operations will work closely with cross-functional teams to build strategic partnerships, streamline operations, and ensure the company’s supply chain is efficient and responsive to market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Drive growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding relationships with existing clients, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to enhance market presence and customer acquisition. Estimation and Bidding: Oversee the estimation process for projects, ensuring accurate cost assessments, timelines, and resource allocation. Work closely with engineering, quality and production teams to prepare competitive bids that align with business Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, focusing on procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relationships to improve cost efficiency and ensure timely delivery of products. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company's long-term business development goals, focusing on improving cost- effectiveness, reducing lead times, and enhancing product availability. Vendor and Supplier Relations: Oversee and foster strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining competitive Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, to align operational initiatives with business growth Provide insight into supply chain and business development processes to improve decision-making and performance. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team is aligned with business goals and operational efficiencies. Risk Management: Identify risks in the supply chain and business development areas, proactively developing strategies to mitigate disruptions and enhance operational Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business development success, supply chain performance, and estimating accuracy. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on performance trends and improvement

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management,

          Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience: At least 10-15 years of experience in operations, business development, or supply chain management, with a focus on electrical equipment or similar industries. Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role, with direct oversight of business development, estimating, and supply chain functions. Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

                                                                                                                                                                       

Skills: Strong understanding of business development, market expansion, and estimating Expertise in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and inventory Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions that benefit business growth and operational success. Certifications: Relevant certifications in business development, supply chain management, or project management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP)
