Overview:
The goal of this role is to maximize overall hotel revenue across a portfolio of properties by developing and executing effective transient and group inventory and pricing strategies based on forward-looking demand forecasts. This individual is responsible for overseeing revenue strategy for multiple hotels, serving as both a leader and subject matter expert. Additionally, this position plays a crucial role in mentoring, training, and developing peers and junior team members.
Priority will be given to candidates with full-service IHG and/or Independent hotel revenue management experience.
This position can be based remotely within the United States.
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement transient and group strategies that drive revenue and profitability.Prepare for and lead regular revenue meetings. Analyze data, recommend strategies, and implement approved changes promptly following discussions.Support Crestline’s Revenue and Digital leadership in launching new initiatives, including system and process development, staff training, and other assignments as directed by departmental leadership.Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and capability in revenue strategy. Serve as a brand and systems expert, leading strategic conversations to ensure alignment and consistency across the portfolio.Act as the subject matter expert on revenue management systems, managing system settings, business rules, and overrides to optimize system performance.Analyze monthly performance reports and evaluate prior strategies to identify areas for continuous improvement.Oversee and ensure strategic alignment across Central Reservation Systems, Global Distribution Systems, and third-party business intelligence tools.Assist with the preparation of monthly reports, forecasts, budgets, owner updates, and business plans as needed.Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance performance and drive innovation.Supportive Functions:

Represent Crestline Hotels & Resorts and the department professionally at owner meetings, brand conferences, and industry events.Build strong relationships with hotel sales and operations teams to consult on optimal booking strategies for group, catering, and special corporate business.Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, including product enhancements, supply shifts, pricing strategies, service innovations, and changes in market demand.Collaborate with peers and department leadership on initiatives that drive incremental revenue.Participate in revenue strategy calls for junior team members to help guide discussions and support performance across the portfolio.Work in partnership with the digital strategy team to optimize content, visibility, and ensure that paid media efforts align with strategic objectives.Train, coach, and support team members, ensuring performance aligns with departmental standards and Crestline’s core values.Contribute to both short-term and long-term forecasting efforts, providing regular critiques that identify opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability.Perform additional responsibilities assigned by department leadership.Additional Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Minimum of five years of hotel revenue management experience, including at least one year managing a multi-property portfolio and one year developing and supervising associates.Proficiency in pricing strategy, revenue optimization systems, and yield management concepts.Strong statistical and analytical skills to identify revenue trends and performance gaps.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across various levels of the organization. Travel as needed for property visits, training, industry events, and corporate meetings.
