What You Will Do:

Lead with Vision – Drive strategic philanthropy by leveraging and distributing grant funds to support SRHS's top priorities. Strengthen Partnerships – Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, state, and national funders to expand philanthropic opportunities. Innovate in Healthcare Philanthropy – Stay at the forefront of best practices and innovative funding approaches to ensure impactful, outcome-driven grantmaking. Manage & Inspire – Supervise a team of four Strategic Philanthropy Project Grant Managers, providing mentorship, oversight, and training. Ensure Accountability & Excellence – Oversee project management, grant implementation, evaluation, and reporting to meet key performance goals. Collaborate with Leadership – Serve on the SRF core leadership team alongside the Senior Director of Philanthropy and Senior Director of Operations. Regularly report progress and impact to the Board of Trustees. Engage the Community – Build strategic partnerships with businesses, universities, nonprofits, school districts, and professional organizations to foster collaboration and innovation.

What You Bring:

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: 8+ years in project management and grant award distribution Proven leadership in community impact and innovation initiatives Experience supervising teams (minimum of two direct reports) Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

Expertise in grant writing, evaluation, and reporting Experience managing federal and private grants Successful track record in securing and overseeing $1M+ in annual funding

What to Expect:

This role requires flexibility, including frequent travel and some evening or early morning commitments to achieve philanthropic objectives. The Senior Director will work independently while collaborating closely with the President of the SRHS Foundation.
