Danfoss Power Solutions has an opportunity for a Sr. Director Regional OEM Sales, Americas to join us at our Ames, Iowa or Plymouth, MN locations in the US.
The Sr. Director OEM Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing solution-based sales strategies realizing business value added to OEM customers that deliver profitable growth and increase customer satisfaction across the region for those business targets. Cultivate and drive innovation to pro-actively anticipate and meet customer needs in a highly digital marketplace to expand market share. Ensure effective use of financial resources to drive revenue while lowering costs. Drive engagement and accountability in the development of others while leading change to support our Danfoss Behaviors.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Develop, refine, and implement a commercial go-to-market strategy for key accounts, leveraging analytics and business insights. Own and drive financial performance, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met. Sharpen and implement DPS value proposition throughout the entire sales process to strengthen market position. Foster cross-functional collaboration across leadership organizations, driving a unified approach to business goals. Maintain and improve a matrix sales organization optimizing regional synergies, reducing complexity. Lead a high-performing team, including Senior Account Managers as direct reports, and provide informal leadership across regions to drive key account strategies. Optimize efficiency and drive growth by leveraging data analysis and market insights to enhance sales processes and support the execution of business objectives. Bachelor’s degree is required, Engineering degree is a plus 15 + years relevant experience in engineering, sales, and leadership More than 5 years leadership experience with virtual teams Formal commercial training is a plus Build and maintain strong relationship internally and externally Excellent communication and stakeholder management Proven ability to drive transformation and inspire teams toward a common goal Passion for integrating AI in sales Empathetic Leadership Ability to travel up to 30% Employee Benefits
