Servus is growing! We are currently looking for a Senior Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Specialist for our People and Culture Team.

Reporting directly to the Leader of Culture and Employee Experience, the Senior DEIB Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering Servus as a place of belonging. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive DEIB strategies and initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with extensive experience in DEIB, possess the ability to engage and influence all levels of the organization, and have a passion for driving meaningful change.

More specifically, the scope of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Develop and Implement DEIB Strategy: Design, develop, and execute a holistic data-based DEIB strategy that aligns with the organization's purpose and values. This includes setting measurable goals, monitoring progress, and reporting on outcomes. Facilitate and Manage Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Oversee and support the development and management of ERGs, known as Servus Employee Resource Circles (SERCs), to promote a place of belonging. Provide guidance, resources, and training to SERC leaders and members to ensure alignment with the overall DEIB strategy. Facilitate DEIB Conversations and Learning: Lead and facilitate DEIB conversations, workshops, and training sessions for employees at all levels, including executive leadership. Foster an environment of continuous learning and open dialogue around DEIB topics. Strategic Programming Across Leadership Groups: Proactively develop and implement strategic data-based DEIB programming and initiatives for leadership groups, including executive leadership, to enhance their understanding and commitment to DEIB principles and practices. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on DEIB-related data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of DEIB initiatives and inform future strategies. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and areas for improvement. Policy and Procedure Development: Review and revise organizational policies, programs, procedures, and practices to ensure they are inclusive and equitable. Advocate for systemic changes that promote a workplace of belonging. Partnership and Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including community organizations, to support and enhance the organization's DEIB initiatives. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to DEIB. Stay current with industry trends and emerging issues in DEIB.
