**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking a Senior Drainage Lead to be based in Seattle, WA.
Job Summary/Responsibilities:
+ Mentor, grow, and recruit staff.
+ Lead a team of professionals overseeing the drainage design of large scale complex projects with a near-term emphasis on design-build delivery.
+ Supervise and lead project plan production and technical reports.
+ Establish budgets and schedules for project deliverables.
+ Develop and manage key client relationships.
+ Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
+ Present complex technical solutions to clients.
+ Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.
+ Participate in the development of technical proposals.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and innovative drainage technologies.
+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to drainage systems.
+ Develop and implement strategies to optimize project sustainability and environmental impact.
+ Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during project implementation.
+ Conduct site visits and field investigations to assess drainage conditions and requirements.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or relevant field
+ 15+ years of experience in drainage design
+ 2+ years of WSDOT highway drainage design experience within the last 4 years
+ A current P.E. license in the State of Washington
+ WSDOT Highway Runoff Manual Training Certification
+ Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets
+ Knowledge of agency/regulatory approval process, standards, and best practices
+ Client connections and relationships with local and state agencies
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills experience
**Additional Information**
+ This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $126,505.00 - $234,034.00.
