Who We WantAt Arrive Logistics, we are committed to servicing our customers and exceeding their expectations. Our Sr. Drayage Specialist will play a key role in continued expansion of our Drayage service offering. You will be a drive force behind new asset capacity added to our offering. This role will be responsible for playing a key role in daily execution. This includes but is not limited to, supporting BD opportunities, onboarding, booking, & managing key Carrier relationships.What You'll DoDevelop and execute a sales strategy to drive carrier acquisition and retentionBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective carrier partnersDrive revenue growth by negotiating contracts with carriers to create a competitive advantage for ArriveAddress and resolve any issues or disputes that arise with carriers, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfactionIdentify opportunities to expand on value-added and specialty carrier services - Transload facilities, ISO or Flexi Tanks, flatracks, heavy haulCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and support for carriers when onboarding new accountsProvide exceptional customer service and support to carriers and our customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptlyMonitor and analyze carrier performance metrics to identify where we need to scale back or expand on a carrier’s market share Ability to lead or participate on customer sales calls as the subject matter expertHave a pulse on current market conditions to identify trends and opportunities while providing insights to the sales teamQualificationsYou are a self-motivated and adaptable with at least 3-5 years of 3PL Drayage experienceYou have a builder mindset and are driven by results Bachelor's degree preferredStrong communication skills, as the candidate will be interfacing with many different parties each dayMust possess strong problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment.The Perks of Working With UsTake advantage of excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.Invest in your future with our matching 401(k) program.Build relationships and take part in learning opportunities through our Employee Resource Groups.Enjoy office wide engagement activities, team events, happy hours and more!Leave the suit and tie at home; our dress code is casual.Work in the heart of downtown Chicago, IL!Take advantage of our transportation reimbursement program and make your way to work via the train, bus, car or bike! The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training.
