Senior Duck Creek Developer

As aDuck Creek developer senior in our IT Commercial Lines team, you’ll participate in our transformation to the latest tech stacks and Agile processes. You’ll be part of a delivery team supporting the key business objective of bringing segmentation advantage with speed to market and having a strong impact on profitability measures. This team is focused on delivering various types of rate revisions, including advancing the latest product models for multiple states. You’ll collaborate and connect with IT and Business stakeholders and work together on innovative projects impacting our customers, agents, and employees. You’ll also work on estimation, code reviews, troubleshooting issues for team members and coordinating the team’s work.

This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have qualifications 

Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of four years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applicationsIn lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experienceIn lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications

Preferred skills

Duck Creek application development and experience with Product StudioExperience with Property and Casualty insurance preferably Commercial Auto or other auto insurance Proficiency in C#, .NET, front-end scripting languages, SQL, APIs, and experience with software design patternsA self-starter capable of working independently, collaborating as part of a team, taking on additional team lead responsibilities, and partnering with business collaboratorsExperience with Agile, Lean, and Scrum

Compensation

$105,000- $130,000/yearGainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
