JOB PURPOSE

The Senior E-Commerce Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing the IT project development lifecycle related to e-commerce. He/she understands the needs and issues of various stakeholders, identifies and documents current and future processes ("To be" processes), designs systems and applications to meet project requirements, performs quality assurance (QA) for project deliverables, and provides oversight and support during solution rollout.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Create a functional specifications document (FSD) containing data handling/migration rules, business rules, and conduct meetings/sessions with technical teams to clarify and align on the project.

-         Communicate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and identify project goals.

-         Follow up and coordinates with various stakeholders on the deployment and rollout of the solution.

-         Follow up on project milestones and provide visibility to various stakeholders regarding progress and task requirements for each stakeholder.

-         Follow up and coordinate with various stakeholders on the deployment and rollout of the solution.

-         Maintain an agreed set of artifacts and lead business process mapping and efficiency work, including methodology and approach, workshop facilitation, and the upkeep of relevant business process and enterprise-wide requirements to support the broader change agenda.

-         Conduct comprehensive testing and audits to ensure the quality and functionality of deliverables meet specified requirements and standards.

LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Language Proficiency

-      Fluency in English.

Technical Skills

-      Proficiency in MS Office.

-      Proficiency in SQL querying. 

-      Proficiency in business process management with strong skills in utilizing visual process representation solutions such as VISIO, MindMap, etc.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business Computer, or Computer Science, or Business Management, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

Four to six years of experience in a similar role.
