Sentara Careplex Hospital is currently hiring a Full Time, Day Shift Senior Echocardiographer for the Noninvasive Lab in Hampton, Virginia!

Job Description:

Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities.

Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.

Provides leadership to support department with respect to staffing schedule, accreditation, staff education or other duties as defined by management.

Hours:

Monday – Friday: 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, along with call and working every 5th week - off Friday prior to weekend call, but work Sat and Sun 8a-12pm, on call from 12p-8am, and then on call Sunday from 12pm-6am.

Job Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology) OR a High School Diploma along with significant experience will be considered in lieu of education, in accordance with IAC Guidelines.

License/Certification: Candidates must have at least one of the following four certifications: RDCS, RCCS, RCS, or ACS.

Experience: 3 years experience in Echocardiography required.
