**Your Career**
The Senior GSI and Ecosystems Architect is responsible for one key thing - driving adoption of Palo Alto Networks platforms as the de-facto standard within our GSIs (Global System Integrators) and MSSPs (Managed Security Services Providers) across Asia Pacific and Japan.
This is a senior technical role and will play a significant role in transforming the security landscape in Asia Pacific and Japan.
The role sits within the Ecosystems Architects and Industry Solutions team which is a strategic group within the overall Technical Solutions organization, responsible for driving large-scale cybersecurity transformations across our strategic customers.
We would like the candidate to bring deep experience in network security, cloud security and security operations (SOC) combined with strong executive presence and design thinking to influence customers’ and partners’ long term cybersecurity roadmap.This role will closely collaborate with a broad group of partner architects, consultants and senior industry solutions leaders to drive common business outcomes.
We expect the individual in this role to represent Palo Alto Networks’ platformization strategy with partners in EBCs, events and other high impact customer engagements around the specialized domain of Security Operations.
**Your Impact**
In this key role, you will be the “go to” resource for:
+ Building technical use cases and reference architectures for partners around the various flavours of network security, cloud security and security operations (SOC) services offered to end customers
+ Deep and long term technical engagements and influence with named high value partners
+ Influencing customer C-level executives through joint solutioning and executive engagements with partners and driving resultant revenue growth for the business
+ Identifying key JAPAC specific product/architecture enhancements necessary to further enhance the competitiveness of the Cortex portfolio with Partners
+ Work in highly collaborative environments to team with Account Managers, Domain Consultants, Solution Consultants and other cross functional groups to deliver business outcomes
**Your Experience**
+ 10+ years as a cybersecurity architect with a minimum of 5 years SOC experience in either an end user or MSSP environment
+ Deep understanding of partner (GSI/MSSP) business models and technical deployment models around Security Operations
+ Cross functional cybersecurity experience in network security, cloud security, identity is preferred (in addition to security operations).
+ Strong public speaking and executive communication skills
+ Deep passion for cybersecurity - published conference papers or presentations (e.g. Black Hat, DefCon or other conferences) is a strong plus
