C.H Robinson is seeking an EDI Developer II on our RMS Integration team who will be responsible for developing and maintaining workflows connecting thousands of trading partners with C.H. Robinson's core suite of transportation management systems. The EDI Developer II will drive the creation of trading partner digital solutions. This role offers a fast-paced, highly rewarding set of diverse challenges including interfacing with multiple target systems and business groups. This role will work on multiple concurrent implementations at one time. This position is responsible for development, testing, documentation and implementation of digital solutions and functions as technical liaison.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Drive the creation of processes and standard specifications that define best practices for electronic integrations with external partners Work with internal and external clients to create digital connections for Trading Partners per requirements and feedback Collaborate with business analysts, application teams, and infrastructure specialists to deliver complex data translations and innovative workflow solutions Develop and maintain/enhance end to end data flow processes, maps, and artifacts used for data transformation Understand application interfaces and effectively utilize a broad range of available tools Perform analysis and document requirements and business case to create new interfaces Manage development and deployment timelines, identifies, and communicates changes, and escalates issues appropriately Encourage active participation and contributions towards team success Develop and execute Unit, End to End (through the application), and Regression test cases Debug issues (Mapping and Data flow issues) Produce detailed data flow diagrams Create documentation to support team efficiency Provide training and support to EDI developersRequired Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with writing logic and scripting (Java, JavaScript, VBScript, SQL) and data manipulation 1+ year of EDI development experience Applied knowledge of data formats such as EDI/ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, XML, and flat file layouts Skilled in the use of mapping software and tools such as EDIFECS, Sterling Integrator (SI), Sterling B2B or other translation platform tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs Experience with object-oriented programming principles Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS, Software Engineering, or other technology degreePreferred Qualifications:

Compensation Range
$76,100.00 - $118,700.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
