We are looking for an experienced Editorial Production Support Specialist to join our Life Sciences & Healthcare Editorial Production Support group in Barcelona. This team works closely with our therapy area analysts and other internal departments to produce high-quality written deliverables.
The role comprises three broad functions: 1) interpreting data and content while performing substantive edits; 2) project management and execution; and 3) internal client service.
You will contribute editorial and Life Sciences expertise and help translate market research data into high-quality syndicated and custom insights to our global pharmaceutical customers.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
PhD in Life Sciences or related discipline is required2-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is required.Ability to interpret data and insights and ensure they result in compelling, quality narratives through a commercial lens is required, with excellent attention to detail. Clinical drug development knowledgeExcellent project management skills (ability to handle multiple projects/tasks for self and to manage competing priorities to deadlines); autonomy with minimal oversight. Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and sound judgement aligned with team and company business objectives. Outstanding communication skills (written, presentation, oral), with ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in both written and spoken English. A flexible, collaborative approach to work; a positive and ‘can do’ attitude. Experience editing in a content management system.
What will you be doing in this role?
Interpreting data and analysis to ensure the content is rendered as carefully crafted and effectively articulated business writing. Performing substantive edits on reports, thought leadership pieces, and other company publications to ensure professionalism and quality. Identifying discrepancies and holes in logic between text and data tables and graphs, content structure and organization within and across products. Helping maintain consistency in writing across products and product lines. Identifying and helping resolve big-picture, product design, and content/organization issues. Ensuring products adhere to specifications, quality expectations, and timelines. Interacting effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business.About the Team

This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The position is hybrid going to our office in Barcelona (next to Sagrada Familia) 2-3 times per week.
