Provide leadership, direction, and education of key central initiatives targeted at improving safety culture and complianceDevelop, implement, and monitor company safety programs and policiesLead implementation of electrical and equipment safety industry standard methodologyImplement management system criteria programs and business processes across the Micron networkPerform compliance audits and support implementation of follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with country, state and local regulationsRespond to emergencies and investigate incidents and recommends corrective actionResolve complex compliance matters, including use of required data and management systemsAnalyze data in compliance with current regulations, standards/policies and make appropriate recommendations to prevent new or recurring incidentsAssure accuracy of reports and permits for compliance with country, state, and local regulationsMay provide leadership to less experienced engineers and to techniciansMay act as lead person or technical advisor on projectsPromote and implement Micron’s EHS PolicyAccept other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Extensive experience with hazard assessment, data analysis root cause investigationStrong technical expertise in the area of electrical and equipment safety, in multi-national corporationsProven ability to comfortably work across organizational boundaries and geographiesAbility to effectively collaborate with cross-functional organizations to understand needs and translate them into meaningful plans, deliverables, and resource requirementsAbility to be guided by business objectives and determine best methods for delivering resultsDemonstrated proficiency in independently completing complex tasksExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to adapt to a constantly evolving environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven facilitation skills including the ability to influence othersProficient digital literacy including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ExcelEducation Required:
Minimum of a B.S. degree in Occupational Health Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or another relevant degreeExperience Required:
