We are looking for an EHS Specialist who is able to investigate, mitigate, remediate, and communicate risks associated with daily safety incidents within R&D in Veldhoven. Also, we are looking for someone who is able to facilitate risk assessment, can conduct Kelvin Topset incident investigations and can provide EHS training. You will work in the Human Safety in Design (HSID) team. This team (appr. 14Fte) is part of the Safety & Compliance (S&C) department within the Development & Engineering (D&E) sector and is located in Veldhoven.

As EHS specialist risk assessment, you will:
Conduct Incident management which comprises of:Daily incident follow-up;
Quarterly incident trend analysis;
Educating peers on incident management;
Conduct Kelvin Topset incident investigation
Facilitate Risk assessments (e.g. Job safety analysis, RI&E, Permit to work) within the R&D clustersContribute to more complex safety issuesProvide EHS training and contribute to training contentProvide safety support to the shopfloorUpdate cluster RI&E in case of changesEducation and experienceMiddelbare veiligheidskunde or the international equivalent such as the NEBOSH international certificate in occupational Health and Safety;Experience in Risk assessment and classification techniques;Experience in root cause analysis as part of incident investigationSkillsAbility to balance safety requirements and operational priorities;You are conscientious and determined;Discrete, independent self-propelling and showing initiative;Is able to communicate clearly, concisely and directly to peers and customers;Other informationThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. ยง 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
