This Senior Portfolio Manager will lead and administer Cedars’ Community Connect program, leading a matrixed team of analysts and customer support to plan, install, and provide customer service for the private physician offices using Cedars’ Epic system by extension. This Senior Portfolio Manager will also provide strategic oversight and support for technology-related initiatives for the Cedars-Sinai International Health program. You will bridge the gap between onsite personnel across the globe and our core team in Los Angeles ensure continuity in service and technology alignment to support clinical integration. Core functions of the role in support of these strategic services include: + Assesses, documents, and budgets potential projects; performs project resource planning; conducts continuous monitoring and reports on portfolio health and participates in the department’s change management process and staff training. Responsible for all aspects of a service line’s technology portfolio including conceptualization, scoping, prioritization, and activation of projects within the relevant service line. + Coordinates with Enterprise PMO on management of large, strategic initiatives. Conducts ongoing portfolio review meetings with executives to establish a prioritized portfolio. + Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to manage the processes of reviewing new requests, assessing project priority, including awareness of cross-portfolio dependencies and impacts, and making go / no-go recommendations to Executive Leadership. + Leads consensus-building activities with end users, operational leaders, physicians, and designated staff to implement solutions and/or resolve issues that may involve multiple applications and/or technical teams. Helps set standards around domain expertise for all teams. + Manages and uses the life cycle of a wide range of cross-departmental initiatives, investments, programs, projects, and outcomes to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives. + In conjunction with the PMO, identifies and leads cross-functional teams in the administration, maintenance, or expansion of application or infrastructure work. + Provides oversight to program and project managers within the portfolio and quality assurance ensuring that initiatives are being well managed and adhering to appropriate standards and good practice. + Develops an overall understanding of each initiative in the portfolio to understand the potential customer impact and service requirements generated by each initiative in the portfolio. + Provides highest-level expertise in the development of portfolio and resource management standards that are scalable including planning, resource management, integration, and touchpoints with other service lines, projects, or cross-functional work. + Supports the financial approval process and budget management process. + Manages special projects (up to 10%): translating customer needs, meeting results, status reporting, and managing customer relationships and expectations. **Qualifications** **Experience Requirements:** Seven (7) plus years of experience in portfolio, program, and/or project management with a successful project management track record in full life cycle information technology implementation projects, with a proven record of execution to time and budget. Two (2) plus years of Epic or other supporting software certified in relevant module preferred. Two (2) plus years of managing Epic Community Connect or similar practice installs preferred. One (1) plus years of international healthcare IT experience preferred. **Educational/Certification Requirements:** High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Management, Business or related field, preferred.
