Senior Electrical Engineer (Perth, WA)
We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client in Perth (engineering consultancy) to be working on mineral processing or mining projects! This will be a 12-months initial contract, with a view to convert to permanent staff. The role will be based in Perth office (West Perth), Monday – Friday office hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Developing designs for power distribution, motor control and PLC control systems for mining projects. Preparation of design drawings, assisting with procurement of electrical equipment and working with external parties to fabricate control panels. Although this position is based in Perth, there may be short periods during construction at North Fremantle workshop, or onsite during commissioning. KEY REQUIREMENTS Electrical/Controls Engineering Degree (recognised by Engineers Australia)  Minimally 4 years of working experience with mining projects, ideally with site exposure. Experience with PLC systems and Variable Speed Drives as well as Site or Commissioning experience is highly advantageous.
