About the Role:
Opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Above Water Systems (AWS) team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, maintenance, and in-service support of electrical systems for naval capabilities, working on maritime projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions.
Perform electrical design, analysis, and documentation using CAD tools.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulations.
Manage multiple projects, balancing technical, commercial, and legal requirements.
Provide technical expertise in HV/LV electrical infrastructure and naval ship systems.
Drive innovation and efficiency in engineering processes.
Mentor junior engineers and promote a strong safety culture.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered Status desirable).
8+ years of experience in electrical system design and in-service support.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards, safety, and risk management.
Experience with HV/LV electrical infrastructure, repairs, and maintenance.
Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and JIRA.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Understanding of Navy engineering and maintenance systems is a plus.
