Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards .

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead the design and development of electrical systems for projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and other electrical infrastructures.

Prepare and review electrical designs, specifications, and calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.

Oversee electrical aspects of projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.

Ensure electrical systems are integrated into overall project designs and are delivered on time and within budget.

Supervise and mentor junior electrical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, technical support, and training as necessary.

Review and approve engineering work performed by other team members to ensure high-quality standards.

Ensure that electrical systems are designed and constructed according to industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes.

Conduct quality assurance checks, system testing, and inspections to verify that systems operate efficiently and safely.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to address technical issues, provide updates, and ensure smooth communication.

Prepare reports and presentations to communicate technical designs, project status, and outcomes to senior management and clients.

Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot complex electrical issues during design, installation, and operation phases.

Develop solutions for unforeseen electrical challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with experience in large-scale or airport projects preferred.

Expertise in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools).

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and safety standards.

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
