As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will:

Design, develop, and evaluate the operation of marine vessels, electric propulsion systems, propulsion and machinery control systems, power generation and distribution systems, interior communications systems, various auxiliary electrical systems, and related equipment. Support the US Coast Guard reviewing third party design modifications and improvements to electrical systems and components. Perform design reviews, evaluate constructability, help resolve technical issues, and manage information generated through the design and construction phases of multiple and concurrent projects. Conduct electrical engineering analysis as they relate to vessels. Create graphical representations of the systems. Inspect equipment or systems. Research advanced engineering designs or applications. Monitor processes for compliance with standards. Devise research or testing protocols. Prepare technical reports for internal use. Communicate technical information to suppliers, contractors, or regulatory agencies.
