Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide technical support and input (Electrical Disciplines) to the Engineering/ Technical Manager on the strategy related to Electrical, sustainability, green building, and energy efficiency

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide technical support and input (Electrical Disciplines) to the Engineering/ Technical Manager on the strategy related to Electrical, sustainability, green building, and energy efficiencyCommission or carry out a thorough site survey to ensure that work is carried out to the appropriate standardsImplement local Electrical projects and infrastructure at various stages, in line with the approved design criteria and standardsConduct Value Engineering studies in order to identify and recommend areas for cost reduction from optimal re-design of projects and optimal quantity of required construction materials Managing contractor/consultantValidate the Consultants proposals and advice management of the recommendation for appointment of ConsultantsLiaison with the consultants to make sure that the drawings and design are as per the local regulations and international standards and codes of safety and stabilityConduct the review, provide advice and recommendations for amendments to the design at various stages of the projectConduct due diligence of the consultant, contractor, suppliers etc. to recommend Electrical service providers for the projectSupport in conducting technical analysis of tender bidsMonitor and control the progress of the project and standard of the work delivered by the contractor and the consultant to ensure that the project specifications and approved parameters are met (Electrical aspect)Ensure the Project parameters for Electrical and Infrastructure projects are met in line with agreed project objectives e.g. time, costs and quality Other dutiesContribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.Ensure compliance to relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a definedContinually research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies in order to keep abreast of state-of-the-art developmentsPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering10+ years of progressive professional experience in an design engineering roleComprehensive experience in Electrical Infrastructures projectsHas experience working with Abu Dhabi Port projectsGCC experience preferred
