Opportunity to join as an Electrical Engineer to provide expertise on all aspects of reliability engineering for the first Deepwater Sour Gas development in Sarawak, the Rosmari and Marjoram fields. You will deliver electrical discipline works within the designed operating envelope, business targets, and regulatory compliances.
**What’s the role?**
This role executes accountabilities, but not limited to below, which may be included as and when required to ensure successful Operations Readiness & Assurance (ORA) processes and OPERATE phase of R&M OGP:
+ Relentless pursuit of Goal zero target with no harm to people (Personal Safety) and no Leak (Process Safety)
+ Manage Electrical Safety as per SMEP Electrical Safety Rules & HSSE & SP CF Electrical Safety.
+ Responsible/delegated as Electrical Technical Authority Level 3 in providing Electrical Technical Assurance.
+ Accountable as Contract Holder for various contracts under Electrical Engineering.
+ Initial focus during project execution phase will be to ensure asset readiness and to lead the integrated project and asset team to start up Offshore facilities and OGP safely and meeting SURU Target. During operate phase, accountable for safe and reliable production of Rosmari & Marjoram fields to meet agreed production/emissions/discharge/HSSE business targets and drive towards top quartile R&M Asset lifecycle performance.
+ Working with Project/Commissioning engineers & vendors to ensure that the equipment and systems meet the specified requirements and are delivered on time.
+ Ensuring all designs and implementations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements and documenting all processes and decisions.
+ Support Management of Change (MoC) processes and manage deviation to ALARP. Ensure mitigations are implemented with confirmed understanding of workforces in R&M and OGP.
+ Collaborating with all stakeholders to understand and document the technical and operational requirements of the R&M and OGP project.
+ Conducting feasibility studies to assess the technical and economic viability of proposed systems.
+ Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them.
+ To provide functional leadership, technical support, and strategic planning in the Electrical Engineering discipline for assigned production units to deliver top quartile performance.
+ Optimize plant energy use to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Deputies and support R&M Electrical Lead roles and responsibilities, when and where necessary. Close liaising with Production Supervisors and other maintenance engineering teams on end-to-end production streamlining/prioritization.
+ Analysing electrical system performance data to identify areas for improvement and reporting findings to management.
+ Regularly maintaining systems to ensure they operate efficiently and troubleshooting any issues that arise to minimize downtime.
+ Providing coaching, training and support to plant personnel on the electrical systems.
+ Carry out duties as site emergency response team member during drills and emergencies. And provide support to identify cause of emergency when required and whenever related to system engineering.
+ Carry out audits of worksites including proactive safe behaviour and document findings.
+ Ensures site workforces have the Front-Line Barrier Management competence requirements in time for start-up of the R&M facility.
**What do we need from you?**
We are keen to speak with individuals who have the following:
+ Min. 7 years experiences in Asset Management, planning/strategizing, maintenance and troubleshooting of Electrical equipment.
+ 10 years of Electrical Engineering experiences in oil and gas industry, covering design, construction, commissioning, maintenance and operation.
+ Bachelor Degree holder or higher in Electrical Engineering.
+ Registered with Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
+ Certified Competent Electrical Engineer (132kV or 33kV) by EIU Sarawak.
+ Certified Electrical Supervisor and/or Chargeman with permitted to conduct HV Switching up to 132kV or 33kV by EIU Sarawak.
+ Preferably a TA3 or working towards TA3 accreditation.
+ Experiences in managing Maintenance Contracts.
+ Experiences in Sour Gas Plant or Integrated Refinery/Petrochemical plant.
+ Extensive experience in the Electrical equipment reliability strategy and improvement, Equipment Care Plan, Proactive Technical Monitoring (PTM) and Risk Based Analysis (RBA).
+ Completed SATP or SATP ready which to be able to complete all requirements within 12 months of employment.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and the ability to influence others (stakeholder management). Able to write concise technical reports, specifications and procedures or edit/review those prepared by others.
+ Must be flexible and mobile to travel/relocate to support business needs as and when required.
