Johnson Service Group is looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator for one of our Clients in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical construction with a strong understanding of the entire bid process.

Responsibilities: Read and interpret plans, scope of work, and bid documents Prepare onscreen takeoff offs Independently produce high-quality, accurate estimates Provide breakouts, clarifications, and additional pricing as needed Manage design stage of design/build projects Manage the quotation/bidding process, maintain bid logs, job calendar, and project job folder Transition projects awarded to the General Manager and/or Project Managers Build relationships with our existing customer base Expand customer base and projects through networking and by proactively seeking out new bidding opportunities Develop and train junior estimators Other duties assigned as necessary Qualifications:  5+ years in estimating with experience from start to finish Solid understanding of pricing/bidding Knowledge of Accubid and Live Count software Microsoft Excel & Word proficiency is a must Self-starter, able to multi-task Excellent written and oral communication skills Willing to learn and take on responsibility quickly Attention to detail and extremely organized Strong time management skills Previous electrical construction - a plus Construction Management Degree - a plus Valid CDL with a clean driving record (verified and approved by our insurance company) Perks and Benefits: A friendly work environment with a great work/life balance Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Excellent comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision & life insurance Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days 401(k) with match and Profit-Sharing program Equal Opportunity Employer Rate starting at $150K depending on experience
