As a Senior Electrical Lead Engineer, you will provide strategic direction and technical leadership for the electrical discipline in the office. You will play a crucial role in mentoring engineers, optimizing project workflows, and driving quality assurance across a diverse portfolio of projects, including healthcare, education, and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help refine technical standards, enhance team performance, and ensure cutting-edge, sustainable solutions for our clients.

 

Your Role:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the electrical discipline within the office.
• Mentor and develop department staff, fostering career growth through structured development plans.
• Ensure adherence to firm QA/QC protocols, maintaining high-quality project delivery.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Oversee, plan, and design electrical systems for projects in healthcare, education, and commercial buildings.
• Act as the Engineer of Record and lead technical communication with clients.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of Glumac’s technical standards.
• Track training opportunities and recommend staff development programs.
• Provide technical reviews of MEP systems designed by other teams, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Interface with code officials, contractors, architects, and other key stakeholders.
• Guide engineers on OHSPD (HCAI) compliance for healthcare projects.
• Serve as a technical advisor for claims and disputes within the region.

 

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience as an MEP Engineer in infrastructure and/or building systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Strong knowledge of OHSPD (HCAI) regulations.
• Experience mentoring and training young engineers, ensuring quality control.
• Significant experience in sustainable design is strongly desired.
• Proficiency in REVIT is required.
• LEED AP BD+C accreditation is a plus.
• WELL certification is a plus.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, actual role and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package for employees.
