You will be a Senior Electromechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). You will be responsible for hardware development for missile and radar electronics, as well as general packaging support. This role requires cross-functional coordination to complete hardware design efforts and support integration efforts for the designed system.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Electromechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Research, develop, and design components, equipment, and networks for military applications
• Design and develop hardware and products to support various contracts, including technical refresh and production
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers
• Work with technicians and manufacturing support personnel to ensure successful design and development of hardware and products
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
• Participate in technical reviews and IRAD work

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance prior to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
-Experience with the use of CREO or similar
-Experience with the use of a Product Data Management / Product Lifecycle tool
-Experience with the use GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
-Experience with Electronics, machined components, Test Equipment, cable assemblies, Circuit cards
-Experience with Windchill PDM (Product Data Management)
-Experience with military and aerospace specifications.
-Ability to manage multiple assignments/programs
-Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), AutoCAD
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
