Compensation Range
Hourly: $20.90 - $24.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to prevent and limit loss to the bank on a variety of consumer card products. This role will handle incoming customer calls and questions regarding debit, credit, and corporation cards and setup and provide maintenance related to Commerce Bank consumer card products.
Essential Functions
+ Review account activities, provide reporting and product changes
+ Minimize risk and comply with Visa, MasterCard, and federal regulations
+ Work within several email boxes and various systems to respond to customer inquiries
+ Provide high touch customer service that reflects empathy and a positive attitude when responding to customer’s questions and requests via phone/email
+ Adhere to all internal controls to mitigate negative impact
+ Serve as a backup to other positions in the department
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
+ Ability to meet deadlines
+ Strong analytical, initiative, independent thinking and problem-solving skills
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Good customer service skills
+ Knowledge of Association and Federal Regulations preferred
+ Must be able to work independently and escalate issues as appropriate. Since some problems will need to be escalated, this position will work closely with internal partners to resolve these issues, keeping management informed of any unusual situations.
+ Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
+ Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
+ Strong level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 3+ year banking operations experience required
+ Credit debit card experience preferred
