Description:We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician who will be responsible for determining means and methods of operations in order to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex industrial electronic and numerically controlled systems and devices. This role requires a strong knowledge of electrical and electronic theory, maintenance shop practices, and procedures, troubleshooting and the elimination of variables.
Primary Responsibilities
Determines methods and sequence of operations required troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex industrial electronic and numerically controlled systems and devices, including solid state components and related devices used on industrial machinery and equipment.
Exercises complete knowledge of applicable electrical and electronic theory, and maintenance shop practice and procedure to ensure effective maintenance and repair of complex industrial electronic systems.
Other Duties
Collaborates with others in troubleshooting and correcting problems related to the malfunctioning of industrial electronic and numerical control systems, including prototype systems.
Works at various heights and operates and works from moving and/or telescoping boom vehicles and equipment as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of two years of experience in electronic repair or servicing of machine tools or other electronically controlled closed-loop devices.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and logic diagrams.
Be proficient in the use of computers and the use of computerized equipment.
Be ale to obtain a DOD Secret level clearance.
Desired Skills:
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) set-up, troubleshooting, and repair.
Machine Shop Theory and Practice, including knowledge of machining shop processes, practices, and equipment.
PC/Computer controlled device operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
The base range for this position in California is $29.62 - $50.22.
