Job Description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
As a Senior Analytical and Characterization Engineer, you will be responsible of ensuring the capability of required metrology and characterization capability are delivered, define short to mid-term goals, and achieve the expected result. You will work on engineering and operations support activities including but not limited to advance data analytics, actual technical tool operation and applications, failure analysis/problem solving, and related projects as the need arise. The function includes Characterization through CD-SEM/SEM-EDX, FIB, STEM/TEM, knowledge on AFM and other related material and chemical characterization techniques and spectroscopy and automated metrology. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Perform Engineering task to ensure that required metrology and characterization deliverables are achieved. Includes but not limited to data analytics, metrology applicationDevelop methods and innovates characterization process to ensure that required capability is sustained as required including modification and creation of automated metrology.Train and mentor technicians and operatorsGenerates technical and goal related reports, review and approve Technician’s outputSets objective and plans effectively including coaching & mentoring Technicians within the organization to achieve the deliverablesCommunicates to higher management and executives when necessaryDemonstrate strong capability in problem solving to support operations and issues that requires the analytical expertise of the team.Plans effectively to ensures availability of resources to run the processSupport Company activities and implementation of policies and programsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry.Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Physical/Material and Chemical Analysis Laboratory.Industry exposure in Electronics, Semiconduction Manufacturing setup is highly preferred.Master's degree in Materials Science is an advantage.

Skills & Competency Requirements:

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical skills, and failure analysis.Ability to interpret large amounts of data into actionable insights.Ability to work with teams across different departments and collaborating effectively.Proficient skills in data analytics, data science and programing.

Other Requirements:

Open to employment opportunities in Binan City, Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.Open to a reporting on-site work arrangement.Open to a dayshift work schedule.
