Work Arrangements: 100% on-site
In this role you will:
Work with Engineering Controls Group to understand and maintain Electrical & Instrumentation Standards
Serve as the site SME (Subject Matter Expert) on all FT Studio Platforms
Support the sites controls and electrical projects:
Work with Controls Integrator to ensure consistent controls system implementation
Own Small improvement projects varying from Programming, HMI, Electrical, and mechanical projects
Assist the Process Engineers with the electrical and controls implementation of their projects and ensure standards are being followed
Resource to the teams for troubleshooting high priority problems
Own PLC maintenance, backups, preventative maintenance (Battery replacements), documentation, narratives
Assist with updating electrical drawings and other controls documentation as changes are made
Help troubleshoot and implement sitewide Utilities/Facilities infrastructure such as HVAC/Wastewater, and Building Automation
Serve as a key resource for the Controls and Instrumentation training portion of Technical Resources Coordinator training (Hold labs and own qualification signoffs)
Work with sustainability lead to implement instrumentation needed to gather data, and implement electrical cost savings projects
Own and maintain UPS battery replacement across the site
Maintain disaster recovery plans and equipment required to support system restoration

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
2+ years of experience in power and/or controls engineering role/internship
Experience supporting Capital projects
Experience working cross functionally within a manufacturing environment
Technical knowledge of industrial power, controls, and information systems
Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA 29 1910.269 regulations
Strong organizational, critical thinking and creativity skills
Effective presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Ability to travel, including international trips to equipment suppliers
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Experience with Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley systems
Experience in food manufacturing
