Job Description

Ensure a seamless transfer of processes from GO R&D to Penang by focusing on the development of CE and HAMR programs. Lead manufacturing improvements, qualify product iterations, and implement efficient process controls for high reliability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure smooth process transfer from GO R&D to PenangCapacity Enterprise CE / HAMR program development in PenangManufacturing improvement projectsProduct improvement iteration qualificationEnsure new product/process transfer from GO R&D to Penang and develop with efficient process control and good reliability performanceCE / HAMR program development to meet the performance requirement from HDD.Closely work with counterpart in R&D to develop new process / materials for performance improvements.Continuous Improvement of Magnetic performance / yields / productivity for product maturity. Establish all necessary unique process controls based on new product requirements in NPI stage.Correspond to process design change iteration for performance improvement, this includes process optimization and tribology qualification.Provide general guidance to sustaining sputter yield/process team on Magnetic & Interface related issuesSupport inter-department projects (Back End, TEST)Support HDD return failure analysis

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications Required:   

Bachelor of Material Science, Physics or any other engineering field with min 3 years experience in Sputter EngineeringMaster / Ph.D of Material Science, Physics or any other engineering field will be an added advantage

Skills Required:            

Project Management SkillsCritical Thinking
