Job Objectives:
Define observability solutions for our products by identifying customer-oriented metrics (at the product level) and making them usable by all teams.Optimize and evolve our tools to ensure the availability and reliability of products, including incident management.Analyze incidents (through Root Cause Analysis with a blameless approach) to derive continuous improvements.Participate in the design and implementation of "by design" automation solutions at the heart of all operations within the team’s scope (CI/CD pipelines, DevOps approach).Guide product teams towards operational and non-functional maturity to align them with the SRE vision (Error Budget, Incident/Problem/Change Management).Adopt and embody relevant quality standards and regulations (Sensitive data, IT security, HDS, GDPR, CNIL, ASIP, etc.).ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the operations for updating solutions and other platform improvements by following and enhancing our procedures.Ensure the availability and stability of products by addressing monitoring alerts, incidents, and maintenance related to the products, during and outside business hours with on-call coverage (on average 1 week/month).Participate in the creation of cloud-native applications that are reliable, scalable, secure, and user-friendly.Participate in and propose cost-reduction initiatives focused on the platform.Ensure interface with other project stakeholders and ensure alignment with objectives and needs.Collaborate with members of other Digital Product teams, primarily located in San Diego.Produce technical and operational best practice guides and share them with the team.Propose improvements to existing solutions.Write and update operational and quality documentation.Design tools/scripts to facilitate collaboration with customer support teams.Be creative to meet growth needs in a dynamic agile environment, staying "one step ahead."Define continuous improvement measures for security and privacy compliance in the team’s operations.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
Master’s in Computer Science (or equivalent) or 10 years of experience.5 years of experience in software development or implementation, including 2 years with “cloud-native” solutions and services as SRE or DevOps.Ability to write and communicate in English.Desired:
Certification experience in managing solutions in a cloud-native AWS environment (Software Development / SysOps Administrator level).Significant experience in deploying/installing multi-environment applications, with automation implementation.Significant experience in setting up observability solutions and defining metrics in an SRE (or DevOps) approach.Knowledge of best practices for information security and security policies (ISO Standards, HDS, GDPR).REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong analytical, debugging, testing, and incident resolution skills.Deep knowledge of application/platform observability.Proficiency in using and optimizing monitoring and performance tools (Ideally Datadog).Mastery of Python or object-oriented programming (e.g., Java) in a Git environment (BitBucket, GitHub).Strong knowledge of EKS or Kubernetes service management.Experience using relational databases, NoSQL (MongoDB), and SQL.Work organization under agile methodology, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban.Experience using HashiCorp tools (Terraform) for solution deployment.Basic knowledge in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning domains.Strong knowledge in incident, problem, and change management.Advanced use of planning and documentation tracking tools (Atlassian Jira/Confluence), especially their integration with other systems.PERSONAL QUALITIES
