Our client, a premier Main Contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors, committed to excellence, innovation, and reliability is urgently looking for a seasoned Senior Engineer. As a Senior Engineer you will be overseeing building projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions ensuring that all engineering activities meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Lead and manage the engineering aspects of complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and that projects are delivered on time and within the budget.
Provide advanced technical guidance in solving complex engineering challenges and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Oversee the design, development, and testing of engineering solutions, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications, safety standards, and client needs.
Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that all engineering work meets the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and performance by conducting regular reviews and audits of engineering works.
Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and external partners to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the engineering solutions provided.
Monitor resources effectively, ensuring that engineering teams have the necessary tools, information, and support to achieve project objectives.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, design reports, and testing results.
Participate in meetings and present relevant technical reports to senior management or clients.
Rigorously implement industry-leading health and safety standards and protocols to create a secure and hazard-free environment for employees, clients, and partners.
Degree in civil engineering or related field.
Proven main contractor experience in Ireland or the UK is desirable.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of construction methods and processes.
Proven record of accomplishments as a Senior Engineer.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
