Position DescriptionOur Senior Engineer is a key member of the engineering team working across the organization to provide a friction-less experience to our customers and maintain the highest standards of data protection and service availability. Our team thrives and succeeds in delivering high quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly. The ideal candidate has broad and deep technical knowledge, typically ranging from front-end UIs through back-end systems and all points in between.
Position ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Engineer, you will:
Architect, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed applications and systemsLead design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organizationDesign, and build process automation solutions and workflows to improve operational efficiency and system stabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and other SRE teams, to drive continuous improvement and ensure successful production deploymentsUtilize hands-on experience with SharePoint, Azure DevOps and Microsoft power platform (Power Automate, Power Apps & Power BI) to develop and maintain customized solutionsDevelop applications using Python, Java or other object-oriented languages, and use SQL or NoSQL databases, and Container Orchestration services like Kubernetes.Mentor and provide guidance and support to junior engineersConsistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teamsQualificationsExpert level experience developing applications using OOP like Python, or Java, and experience with SQL or NoSQL DatabasesAdvanced understanding of monitoring and alerting concepts and tooling like Prometheus and GrafanaExperience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as codeAdvanced understanding of DevOps concepts including Azure DevOps framework and toolsIn-depth knowledge of Computer data structures and algorithmsExperience with continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like Microsoft ADO pipelines.Experience building process automation solutions and workflowsHands-on experience with at least one of Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps & Power BI platformsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiencesProactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentRelevant certifications, e.g., ITIL, AWS or Azure DevOps Engineer will be a plusExperience4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience3+ years of experience architecting and designing applications3+ years of experience developing on AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service2+ years of experience implementing with open-source frameworksEducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience#LI-EL1
Annual Salary
$90,000.00 - $185,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
