Emerson has an appealing role for you – Senior Engineer.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of the project delivery team leading and guiding a team of junior engineers to deliver their allocated sections of automation projects to a high standard. This role shall support, the overall project objectives by applying efficiency tools and their skills and experience to support the project leadership teams in the delivery of projects.
The key focus will be to deliver Life Science projects for Emerson's Customers.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Collaborating with the broader team, to ensure technical support for Project Delivery. The Senior Engineer will be the point of contact for customers for technical communication for their assigned Project area. Communication - Ensures that customers and project leadership team are provided with all relevant information - technical specifications, details of scope, schedule and quality standards – to optimally deliver and that engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with Emerson's quality control Project Management – Supports Project managers and lead engineers in project delivery, identify and communicate areas of risk. Project Execution – Take ownership of the engineering activities on all allocated work and proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for cost efficiency, whilst maintaining the requisite on time and quality standard. Proposals/Sales support – Actively supplies to any assigned bid activities to ensure that the customer’s requirements are fully understood, and that innovative and efficient solutions are proposed. Customer Focus – Support projects, understanding and managing customer’s expectations.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need: Engineering, Process or Chemical degree or equivalent. 5-10 years of relevant industry experience with a proven track record delivering Process automation projects including system design, implementation and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects (process automation, systems and instrumentation) Ability to work independently or with in a team and within defined timelines. Experience with direct customer contact and managing expectations Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written); excellent communicator.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Strong Background in delivering and implementation DeltaV Batch Automation, in Life Science.
