 Reporting to the Supervisor – Storage and Backup, the Senior Engineer - Backup will be responsible for leading and assisting in the implementation and support of backup solutions globally.  This involves both project and operational support.

 

Your Day to Day

As part of a global team you will assist in the implementation, support and development of the global backup solutions. Work on implementation projects for new sites or lifecycle management. Managing small enhancement projects Work out of the Platform Services Backup operational queue Assist in the response to priority incidents Support backup monitoring and resolving failures.  Assist in implementing backup automation where possible Assist the backup team in generating and verifying that documentations are up to date and assist the team in coaching or documenting where needed Performing any other related duties prioritized by the Platform Services Manager.

 

 

Who You Are

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Experience in a complex, global engineering and manufacturing organization High level of understanding of Enterprise Backup Solutions Experience in project managing small to mid-sized projects Experience delivering highly complex, global programs and projects Open to travel once or twice a year for projects or team building sessions Proficient in Cohesity Backup technology.
