Job Description

The role

Assisting the Principal Engineer in the technical direction, resource management, planning, mentoring and training of a team of engineers and geologists.Responsible for all surveyor-related aspects of the project, including the correct offsets, measurements and calibrations of positioning equipment, the set-up and/or operation of survey equipment.Performs complex geospatial work around the process of acquiring, collating, processing, QC, analysing, and reporting of complete and high-quality geospatial data to provide accurate and customized data deliverables to clients.Coordinating the analysis and reporting of post-processed office and field related geo-data.Provides geospatial advice in multiple specialised technical disciplines and develops solutions to clients by putting acquired geospatial data into context.

To be successful, you must be

Locally registered Geodetic EngineerSuccessfully delivered medium- to large-scale remote sensing projects with emphasis on LiDAR and hydrographic surveysKnowledgeable in TerraScan, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Agisoft and other related geospatial processing softwaresExperienced in performing complex ground monitoring activities
